Exploring my typographic skills with a feel good project that marks a special occasion.
The week that I produced and shared these on social media, it was one year since the first case of covid-19 was reported in The Netherlands. Many people struggle with the mental aspects of being alone for a long time, without any social contacts or whatsoever.
I thought it would be nice to make some posters with an uplifting text, to support those with these struggles.
These posters were featured on multiple big Instagram accounts
and 2 out of 3 were featured as project of the week by Pangram Pangram Type Foundry.
For all three posters, I selected three very cool images from Unsplash, that could almost tell a story by themselves. After that, I came up with a text that would really compliment this image.
For all three posters, I used the same typeface, to test my ability of creating diversity.
To create this diversity, I combined the regular and italic version of the same font in the same sentence. This really puts an accent on the key words. These typographic titles, combined with some cool layouts and body copy, make the posters look very modern.
